Bodyguards & Assassins (2009)

I've watched this movie on Christmas night. One word to describe. Great! One of the best "Chinese" movies in year 2009.

I like Donnie Yen a lot!! Since Ip Man, his acting and "kung fu" skills are more visible and he really know how to show us his "way".

But whenever I watched a good movie, I will directly thought of this director and producer!! This movie's producer is the well-known Peter Chan. So far all his movies are thumbs up.



I would rate 8.0/10 for this movie. Till some part it is quite touching!!

P/S: You will never know that there is a NBA player (Mengke Bateer) acts in the movie too.. After that movie, only I know :P

Avatar (2009)

Have you watched Avatar? Yeah... been hearing this question from everyone... YES! I've watched it on 26th Dec 2009.

I must give you some brief introduction about the movie production taken from Wiki. It is so huge and you must know before or even after you have watched it.

This is a science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron (director of Titanic).

Avatar had been in development since 1994 by Cameron, who wrote a 114-page scriptment for the film. Filming was supposed to take place after the completion of Titanic, and the film would have been released in 1999, but according to Cameron, "technology needed to catch up" with his vision of the film. In early 2006, Cameron developed the script, the language, and the culture of Pandora (the planet). He has stated that if Avatar is successful, two sequels to the film are planned.

I do think Avatar is one of the best movie of the year of 2009. MUST watch!

I would rate this movie a 8.6/10. I really salute to the movie's graphics and all the technology it used. I really wonder how it has been filmed. But of course, the story line is extremely good too.

P/S: The movie duration is around 3 hours. but I don't feel it. Thumbs up!

Our mission on Christmas Eve...

Yeah~~ I feel so happy!! We have another 3 days holiday again.. If you are a worker, then you will surely understand my feeling now :P

I have planned these 3 days with good activities already!!

For today, Christmas Eve, we have been invited to our friend's house for a closed-party. A party for close friends only. Thanks to our friend for sponsoring drink, food, and his house. We really have a good time!!



The main mission of the Christmas Eve night is to finish up all the drink and food.









Drink: Wines and beers
Food: Satay, ketupat, pizzas, sushi, and chips

We did eat, drink, eat drink and drink drink drink and drink... Got red wine, white wine, German beer, hoegaarden, Porto (A fortified wine from made with specific grapes from the Douoro region of Portugal), and etc. Only wines caused my friend over RM600.00 Surely must enjoy la~~!!!







From 9pm drink till 2am. We chat and drink. So it is quite enjoy and fun. Hope to have more of such party with friends to enjoy...





At last... we completed our mission!!

Mummy's yummy colorful Tong Yuen

Eventually I've planned to go home sharp at 6pm today but too bad. It failed. Believe it or not. It is because work will only pop out every time when it knows that you are planning to go home. :( How they know?? Hahaha

Actually I am rushing home for Kor Tung dinner with my family. So warm and harmony hahahaha...

End up, I only reached home at 7pm. A bit late... my bro already started to eat :( but still ok i think :P Because he haven't finish eating yet.

My mum prepared a lot of dishes.. Thanks mummy. Ya ya I help her to wash plates to show appreciation.. Hope she feel it :P

The main part of Kor Tung is that the whole family will sit down and eat dinner together.. Second main part is.... my favorite Tong Yuen... slurp slurp ~~

My mum is a very good cook. Therefore, the Tong Yuen that she cook is simply irresistible. Some more so colorful.. Make whoever who eat it feel the happiness of our family :)



Hmmm... but the diversity of the Tong Yuen's size is quite obvious . Hahahhaha...

P/S: I finished the whole bowl of Tong Yuen :P

The Storm Warriors (2009)

At last, I've watched Storm Warriors... I have waited so long..

After being more than 10 years an Astro subscriber, I gotten 2 free Storm Warriors movie passes from them. :P Thanks Astro..

Ok ok.. I heard a lot of bad comments from everywhere.. everyone... This actually bring down my expectation on the movie.

But after watching, I think the movie is still ok. eventually quite exciting.. I still think the actors acting is great!! But those actresses really "beh tahan".

From this movie, there will be continuous of part 3 and maybe 4... and so on.. As the ending is not really clearly explained. I think this is reasonable as the original comic has thousand of episodes.. How can a 2 hours movie explain as detail as the comic?

I would rate 6.5/10 for this movie. All "Fung Wan" fans, faster go watch it!!

P/S: Aaron Kwok is still so macho :P

Lucky Night...

I was wondering this afternoon whether to join my company's Year End Get Together event tonight or just go home after work. No much familiar faces that I know will be there. So...

End up, I've decided to go!! Don't know why... in my heart there's a voice telling me "Go ~ Go ~ Go ~" Hahahha sound scary? It is just my "sixth sense angel" :P

The event was held at Rama V Fine Thai Cuisine, No. 5 Jalan U-Thant, Kuala Lumpur. Ya ya... I really don't know how to go as I have NO SENSE of DIRECTION. But after a few people briefed me and guided with map, i think i know where it is.

Too bad didn't bring my camera along to snap those food. It served buffet style for our event tonight and the food is so DELICIOUS!! Must go there and try again one day!! I think the food not cheap too.

But company paid, so hehehehe...

After all the talks from our executive, it comes the best part of the night. The lucky draw!!! The grand prize is the PS3..

Hahahaha I didn't get the grand prize.. but I'm so lucky and won a Bobbi Brown cosmetics box set worth RM300.00

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Home Deco Exhibition @ Mid Valley

Some thing good that I would like to share... I visited the Home Deco Exhibition in Mid Valley last weekend. Really very good and complete.



All range of housing products till credit card... till slimming companies are all under one roof.. I really have no idea why slimming booth is there. But I think they target is those housewife to sign up for their package :P Hehehehe...

It really give me a lot of ease to come here once my condo is ready!! The offer is quite good as well but of course need to bargain and inquire more.

P/S: So many booth till my head also spins. Don't know which to choose...

4 hours Malacca Trip...

This is the first time I have travel to a city for so short time but eat so many things :P

Hahahaha in not more than 4 hours, me and my friends had eaten 1 main meal + 2 types of local side courses + 1 desert. Very little? Try to keep on reading

Thats a record breaking moment!!

Firstly, the main meal of course will be the Malacca most popular Chicken Rice Ball. We also did ordered some other dishes such as asam fish, and vege. Therefore, the main meal actually contains rice balls, chicken, fish, and vege!!!











Once after clearing all those dishes, we straight away go to a Satay shop recommended by a friend in Malacca too... but sorry I've forgotten to took a pic of the shop :(

But this shop only sell satay and juice. We only ordered PORK satay!! Ya.. the most special part of this shop is... It sell PORK satay!!! A lot of locals will invite this shop too.





Hmmm... I still can feel the deliciousness from those pics while blogging :P

Then, the journey doesn't end here, we did decided that we had have enough, so we need to proceed to desert now..

We walked back to the main street and went in to this shop - it is very popular with Gula Melaka (Malacca's Brown Sugar) ais kacang and cendol. The shop's decorations are quite nice, but it is quite small. The most interesting part is that the cendol we ordered is in Durian flavor. Very NICE!! only if you are a durian lover! :)











And lastly, we actually really really think that we can't eat anymore. But when we passed by a hawker bicycle selling popiah, we can't resist the temptation and brought one to share..





Feel like vomiting ?? Hahaha we really can eat a cow!!!

P/S: Hope I didn't gain much weight after these 4 hours... :(

JUMP (2009)

Everyone who knows me well, will know that I love dancing... specially hip hop, street dance or whatever you name it. If you are the same gang person, you should have watch this...

I watched this last week. It is a romance + dancing + a little bit kung fu movie.

I hope I can be as talented as the girl too in dancing... :P

I would rate 6.3/10 for this movie.

P/S: I learned this from the movie and I would like to share... Giving up is so easy! But to hold on and still working hard for your aim and hope is the hardest part.

Red Bean Cendol in Carlsberg's Glass

Nowadays weather acting really very weird.. Early morning will rain, then it will be so hot in the afternoon time and it will again rain in the evening. It is going to make me crazy!!

But luckily we have the red bean cendol in Carlsberg's glass from Gerai Minum Weng Kee @ PJ Old Town, Petaling Jaya.

It was so cooling and sweet that will make everyone's life happier after eating it. :P At least this is what I feel after eating it.

Go try it!
