Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

Have you watched Transformers 2 yet? This is the mostly used question currently to start the conversation of the day with anyone in the age range of 8 to 70 years old. Hahahaha :P

Yeah yeah... I just watched it last Sunday. This movie is really tremendous. GSC website has changed the text-based just to be ready for the load that will strike their site just to book or purchase the tickets of this movie.

Back to the movie, if you watch it, you will definitely know Transformer 3 will come soon. So please watch this and follow on the battle. This time, I think Decepticons have more characters and it is more concentrated on them. On Autobots side, mainly Optimus Prime and Bumblebee as the main characters as usual.

One thing I like about this movie is that all the actors and actresses are all same as the first episode. Overall, i think this movie is great but I have a same feelings with some of my friends that when we are watching the movie, we will felt the time passed by quite slowly. Eventually, this means we felt a bit bored of too much actions and too much robots in the 2 and a half hours time. But I don't think my bf feel the same :P

Lastly, I would rate 7.3/10 for this movie.

P/S: This is one of the must watch movie for this year. Just watch it.

Forever My King of Pop, Michael Jackson

From CNN News:

"Michael Jackson died after being taken to a hospital on Thursday (25th June 2009) after suffering cardiac arrest, CNN confirmed.

Lt. Fred Corral, the Los Angeles County Coroner said Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Thursday
(25th June 2009) . He also said Jackson was unresponsive when he arrived at the hospital.

Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, said he was told by brother Randy Jackson that Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in west Los Angeles, California, Thursday morning."

You can leave a message or a last good bye here in the comment for our King of Pop. May he rest in peace.

Spare 5 mins to recap one of the best Michael Jackson's performances.

P/S: You will always be everyone's King of Pop and will be remembered forever. No one can replace you in my heart.

Whatever? or Anything?

What do you want to drink? Whatever? Hahahaha...

Okie... From now on to those who like to say "Whatever?" as an answer will need to be careful!! There is really a drink called "Whatever?"

My bf brought this in Carrefour at RM1.90 just to guess the flavor of this Whatever? Whatever is non-carbonated and is made in six flavors as iced tea: Ice Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, White Grape Tea, Apple Tea and Chrysanthemum Tea.

After trying, mine is Chrysanthemum Tea. Quite ok.

For more info from wiki.
"The drinks have a unique packaging concept such that every beverage has a generic design, with no way of telling what flavor is contained in the can. This prevents the consumers from being aware of the flavor of the purchased beverage until they drink it. (An observant drinker can, however, make an educated guess by looking at the ingredients specification on the side of the can.)"

Besides, they also have "Anything?". Hahahaha... It is carbonated and is made in six flavors: Cola, Cola with Lemon, Apple, Fizz Up, Cloudy Lemon and Root Beer.

P/S: Will try Anything? soon.

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

I hope I am still on time to update you guys on the latest movie info. I just watched the movie yesterday night. Hahahahha.... I heard a lot of screaming from the ladies sitting nearby. It used the sound effects and the old scary looking woman very well. I really got frighten by those effects.

It gives me quite fresh idea of horror movie. Not same as those normal horror ghost movie where those ghost have long hair, white dress, fully overed by blood, flying here and there and etc.

"From the director of box-office hit Spiderman Trilogy, Sam Raimi once again bring you another new horror DRAG ME TO HELL. A loan officer (Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point." source from
GSC.com.my.

Watch it for the full story.
Overall, this movie is ok.
I would rate 6.8/10 for this movie.

P/S: I don't dare to make any old lady angry now... :P

All these songs are my favorites too. Let plan and go.

It is definitely worth watching. Moreover, it is held at Genting Arena of Stars. The hall is smaller compare to those other concert halls in KL.Therefore, even though your sit is further up you still can see them.

1 Full Day Trip in Genting Highlands

Hey guys, do you realize actually there are a lot to be explore in Genting Highlands than only casino, theme park or coffee bean!! Eventually, whoever that thinks Genting is a boring place, then you really need to slow down when you travel to Genting Highlands. Try my plan itinerary.

I did go there few weeks ago with my bf and his family. They showed us the places that we will never ever go.
Firstly, we stopped by at Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall. It has a pond there with a lot of Japanese Koi fish.

Then, we visited the Chin Swee Temple. This is really a very nice place. A lot of big statue of Buddha, Kwan Yin and etc. It makes me felt like I am visi
ting in Taiwan. Not to forget the most famous tall pagoda in Chin Swee Temple.

There is a market street in Chin Swee Temple. We are attracted to this orchid stall. My bf's mum was too tempted to the orchid beauty, she brought a few small pot of baby orchids home. I believed the promoting power from the sales lady does help too :P

Then followed by the Mushroom Farm. Hahaha Also got Ling Zhi inside. I really never know how mushroom or ling zhi grow. :P

Finally, we reached First World now and after a while of window shopping, we stopped by a shop for food.

The shop named Flavurs @ First World. We just ordered some light dishes as lunch. But still quite expensive and the food portion differs between in reality and from menu.

Rating:
[3stars.jpg] (2.8 / 5) So need to round up a bit...

After food around 3:30pm, we accompanied my bf’s cousin sis to Wan Chean’s mini Concert @ Arena Stars. She is a great singer. Her concert is not bad some more is FREE admission.

The concert ended around 6:30pm. Then we meet up with the others and planned to have dinner on the way back to KL. We didn't overnight though.
Trust me one full day in Genting Highlands is never enough. I still haven’t go to Theme Park yet. Overall the trip is very nice and relaxing. Give it a try.

P/S: I used almost 1 hour to upload those pics.. You guys better enjoy it! Hehehehe.... :P Moreover, it is took by Canon DSLR 450D kit lens.

Pasta Zanmai @ Mid Valley, KL

Calling for the Pasta, Japanese Food, Pizza, and Desserts Lovers out there... You MUST try Pasta Zanmai. This is really good!! It includes of a lot of varieties of food.

This is my first time trying Pasta Zanmai at Mid Valley. To be exact, it is at 1st Floor, just above Coffee Bean.

I ordered a soft shell crab spaghetti with special sesame sauce. Great combination. It gives you a small bowl of sesame and the stick to grind it before you pour as much as you want to the spaghetti. So special. I am so excited with it. Hahahahha :P

This soft shell crab spaghetti with special sesame sauce costs RM23.

My bf ordered a set meal consist of a small scallop pizza and a small bowl of teriyaki chicken spaghetti. The pizza is a lot better than the spaghetti. This set meal costs around RM23.

For drinks, we tried the iced fruit juice. The whole jug costs RM18. Really very fruity!!

For dessert, we had chose to go with the Macha (green tea) ice-cream with red bean. This costs around RM12. Pasta Zanmai had a lot of varieties of dessert. I MUST TRY ALL...

Rating:

P/S: Overall spend RM87 for the dinner. Quite expensive but the food is really good. Will you pay more for good food?? :P I will but once per month depending on the dryness of my bf's wallet. :P

My Dinner @ Fong Lye

Just got to know that there are 2 different type of Fong Lye Restaurants in KL. One that I known of is the one in The Gardens Mid Valley, KL. But after my dinner on 3rd of June 09, eventually there is one more in Sri Hartamas, KL.

Fong Lye in The Gardens served Taiwan style set meals and Fong Lye in Sri Hartamas served Taiwan cuisine for dinner (Chinese style) with mainly ala-carte dishes and soups.

However, these 2 are not the main branch. The main branch is at No. 94, Jalan Imbi. Some say is just next to the Overseas Restaurant of Jln Imbi branch.

Due to my dinner was around 10pm, I am too hungry and only able to share minimum pictures :P. Only remember to get the picture of the starter or appetizer. Hehehehe...

Interested? Here is the details:

Fong Lye Restaurant
9, Ground Floor, Plaza Prismaville
Jalan 19/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas
Tel No: 03 - 6201 7998

Rating: (around 3 - 3.3 / 5) Hehehhe.. Is hard to rate it at the starts.

P/S: The total bill of the dinner is approximately RM160 for 5 persons with 5 dishes and 1 soup. Ok la...
