Have you been to Mum's place?

No no no.. I don't mean your mother's house. There is a restaurant really called Mum's Place at Damansara Perdana, PJ. It serves baba nyonya cuisine. This is one of those restaurants that have been visited by a lot of artist such as Andy Lau, Eason Chan, and etc. as all the artist pics taken with the boss was hanging on the wall.

I have been there for the first time last weekend (after my spa hehehehe :P). The food is good and to me the price is still reasonable as the portion of the food serve is satisfying. Went there with my friends as a total of 8 persons including me and my bf and the total bill are around RM270. Ok right??

Rating:

My Spa experience with Body Contours

I tried a Spa Massage last Saturday at Body Contours. Have you heard of this center before?

It is located at the Level 31, Menara Standard Chattered, Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL.
You can call to 603-21456866 for appointment.
Have a look at their spa menu at http://www.bodycontours.com.sg

Eventually my first experience with Body Contours was quite good. I think the place is nice and comfortable. They have a quite good promotion package too where you can share with your fiends. But too bad for me the location is a bit too far from my house. I will surely get lazy :P

Their menu is also quite interesting. They have spa indulgence in Balinese Coffee and etc, face spa, spa therapy with goat's milk and many many more. You name it, they have it.

As I always say pamper yourself a bit and it is really worth trying. For your info, it open for both male and female. Hehehehe...

P/S: I tried it for freefrom my company's event free door gift :P

Premier Screening: Terminator Salvation

YEAH... I have gotten the invitation to watched the Terminator Salvation Premier Screening yesterday. Overall the movie is great. This is those kind of movie that you must watch in a cinema. The sound effect is so good till I will can felt as if a helicopter is just besides me. :P

Anyway, I would rate this movie a 6.8/10. The fact that I have deducted some points out due some concerns. As this is a Technology Action Movie, it should have so shoot those machine or terminators in details. But I don't see one. The terminators are not as real as you can see and feel when you are watching Transformer.

In case you are confused, Terminator Salvation is both a sequel and a prequel to the previous films. Salvation, set in 2018, focuses on the war between humanity and Skynet. It abandons the time travel element of previous entries in the series, which centered on Terminators and other characters traveling through time to either kill or protect John Connor before the events of Judgment Day unfold.
(** Source by Wiki **)

Just FYI, the history of Terminator movie:

1. The Terminator
2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
3. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
4. Terminator Salvation

But this is definitely worth watching. Christian Bale is sooooo MACHO..

P/S: Asta la vista, baby... Thanks nuffnang!!

Angels and Demons (The Movie)

**Clap clap** This is what I called my type of movie! It is so exciting especially when Tom Hanks started the investigation on all those symbols.

However, some may found that the actors and actresses in this movie really speaks too fast while they are explaining all the theoretical facts and all about those Vatican's history. But still can catch up when you are concentrating fully. Hehehehe :P

I really like this kind of movie where is links to much history facts and from there it actually have some secrets hidden in it. Just the same goes to the Da Vinci Code story. But I think Angels and Demons movie is better than the Da Vinci Code movie. Maybe I haven't adapted to the fastness that time on how they explain the whole thing. Storyline, both are equally strong.

Watch it! It is really worth watching. I would rate this movie a 7.5/10.

Or you can try reading the book. It is from Dan Brown. I think by reading the book, it will gives you more details.

P/S: At least this movie will give you some historical knowledge. :P It is up to you to believe it or not...

My Facial Experience with Cellnique Centre

**This photo is really a big sacrifice on my image. Kekekeke.
**Please appreciate my spirit of wanting to show you the LIVE session of my facial. :P Hehehehe...

Today I would like to blog about my facial experience recently. I have tried out the Cellnique facial service at a Cellnique Centre near my house. Due to the fact that it is near my house that needed only5 mins drive, it gives me the first valid reason why I should try this facial and maybe to go on for long.

I really think ladies need facial or DIY mask session at least once per month to pamper yourself and to moisturize your skin a bit in order to stay looking young. It really shows some differences on skin that go facial and on skin that doesn't. Unless your skin is superb crystal clear and moisturize then I have nothing to say... :P

The whole experience in Cellnique is good. They recommended me to try the Intensive Hydration Facial (dun remember the full exact name...) that cost around RM168 and free one eye mask (RM48) for first time customer. The hydration really works I think but the feeling just lasted for maybe about one week. However, I will definitely go back and sign up for their promotion package. But only till I finish my facial package with my current facial provided.

P/S: My current facial service was by Lenard Drake Dermalogica. It is good but not convenient to me. Too bad :P

I'm a Standout in Life

How I'm a Standout in Life? I worked as a Programmer for almost 3 years now. I've write codes more than the times I write anything.

For a little of introduction, eventually being a programmer is my ambition since I was in Form 3. I can't believe eventually one of my dreams has come true and when I think of it, I am really doing what I wanted to do when I was 15.

I start coding when I was in college. Till now, I can even write codes while I am listening to songs with my earphone and while I am closing my eyes. Hahahaha :P Don't believe it? You can see see my picture above. Hehehhee... I think I can code 1000 line per day.

Regardless of all those sleepless nights, I always feel proud whenever I have completed my program and it is being used and brings good to the users.

Therefore, I think I really feel standout as I had completed one of my many dreams.

P/S: Keep on dreaming.. I hope I can be the world most successful Housewife. Hahahhaa :P Before that, Join the Standout Party to being more standout in your life...

Anyone watched this new movie trailer yet? Go watch it at

Gals and guys, proudly present the GHOST OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST.

This is a romance movie which brings drama and funniness to the audiences. Such show can watch to release stress too. It tells all you guys out there never messed with girls. Hahahaha... Eventually the actor Matthew McConaughey is a playboy and haunted by the spirits of girlfriends of the present and past. Oh, this is a good one! Can remind all you guys out there, never ever be too flower heart. Or will guys ever take up a relationship seriously?? *Sigh*..

Anyway, story begins when he meets Jennifer Garner in his brother's wedding. She is his first love back in the old days and the drama continues...

Fast and Furious: New Model. Original Parts. (2009)

Cool. Cool. So cool. Just watched Fast & Furious yesterday. Ya ya.. I am a bit outdated. : P

This movie really makes me so excited. I feel like pressing more gas for them to drive faster while being chase by those bad guys. Hahahaha...

To my I would suggest you guys to watch this movie in cinema. This movie is one of those movie that needed surrounding sound system to support all the superb car's engine and all the racing effects.

As for the storyline, it has a little linkage from all the previous trilogy. But it is OK as I also didn't watched all of those.

To those who watched it, you will surely know that the there will definitely be a 5th Fast and Furious.

However, I would rate 7.3/10 for this movie.

The history of Fast and Furious:

1. The Fast and the Furious (2001)
2. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
3. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
4. Fast & Furious: New Model. Original Parts. (2009)

P/S: Don't drive after watched!!!! :P

Lee Hom Music Man Concert in KL @ 2nd May 09

To all that did not attend Lee Hom Music Man Concert in Bukit Jalil, KL @ 2nd May 2009, don't be sad. He will come again. :( As I am one of you guys too.

Eventually, my source told me there were 2 last minute free tickets (the cheapest one i guess) for us. But due to me and my boyfriend were in Perak, therefore didn't inform us. However, the truth is that we already on the way back to KL and reached KL at 8pm. We will come back earlier of course if being told. Haihzzz... Nevermind because I know he will be back!

Anyway, from all the feedback, I have no doubts that Lee Hom's concert is marvelous and high. But from the pics of the stage, the deco is just not that good as his previous concert. I know he did perform some magic tricks on stage and played all sort of music instruments.

I have selected one opening and one ending recording clip for those who can't attend the concert to have a little memory of this great show. To those who attended, congrats man..

After all, good show Lee Hom!

P/S: Please come back again soon and maybe in the range of time where I will extra money to buy your concert ticket. Hehehehe :P

Connected by Louis Koo and Barbie Hsu

Just watched this movie yesterday. At first I feel it quite weird because the main actress Barbie Hsu speaks Mandarin in the movie while the main actor Louis Koo speaks Cantonese. Since the story line does explain that Barbie Hsu is a lady from China. Therefore, I've accepted it. :P

The story is quite excited starting from the very beginning till the end of the movie. However, you will find this movie very familiar if you did watch a Hollywood movie Cellular back in the 2004 - 2005 time. I think Connected is a HK version of Cellular and Connected is aired on 2008.

Surprisingly, it also has Nick Cheung acted in the show. I really didn't aware of it. Hehehehe.. Didn't really notice on the poster previously till this movie was being mentioned in the 28th Hong Kong Film Award that gets Barbie Hsu a place in the best Actress nomination list.

Here is a short synopsis from Wikipedia

Bob’s life isn’t going well at all. A single father in a dead-end job as a debt collector, he’s trapped in a job that goes against his usual easy-going helpful nature and he’s under tremendous pressure to be a better dad, a better brother, a better worker, even a better person. While dealing with all this and his sister’s threat to move to China with his son to force him to clean up his act, Bob receives a call out of the blue.

It’s a stranger called Grace who claims a mysterious kidnapper is keeping her against her will and begs him to save her and her young daughter. Is it just a prank? The detective he tried reporting the call to seem to think so but Bob’s instincts tell him that he may just be the only thing standing between them and a painful death. But does he have the mettle to rise above his own self-centered concerns and risk everything – including his own son – for two people he has never met and who may not even exist?

P/S: Anyway, can't really rate it yet as I've been called out for dinner at the ending of the movie. Darn... :(
